Media advisory - Itinerary: Minister Guilbeault to attend the fourth session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC-4)


OTTAWA, ON, April 18, 2024 /CNW/ - Media representatives are advised that the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, will attend several events on the sidelines of the fourth session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC-4).

From April 23 to April 29, Canada will welcome the world to Ottawa for INC-4, where negotiations will continue to develop a first-of-its-kind agreement to end plastic pollution by 2040.

The session will kick off with high-level events on April 21 and April 22, organized by Canada, in partnership with the World Wide Fund for Nature.
