The Rotary Club of Saratoga is hosting its annual Art Show on May 4-5, 2024 at West Valley College and, for the first time, a 5K Run/Walk For a Cause race to benefit local charities. The 65th juried show will feature over 125 artists from across the region, showcasing thousands of unique paintings, sculptures, photographs, and more across all mediums. The Art Show will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
The event is free to the public and serves as the largest fundraiser for the Saratoga Rotary Charitable Foundation, which supports grants to local non-profit organizations and the Club's youth and community service programs. Every year, the Art Show draws art lovers and collectors from all over the Bay Area to visit and purchase one-of-a-kind creations directly from artists.
Guests can also enjoy live musical performances, food vendors, beer and wine, a nonprofit showcase, a display from Big Daddy's Motor Cars, and children's art activities. Entertainers include Paul Renslow Music, Nigel & Clive, Fred McCarty, Tsunami band, and Jazz Cats. Workshop providers include Blossom Hill Crafts and A Brighter World Tie Dye.
A portion of the art sales proceeds benefit the Saratoga Rotary Charitable Foundation. In the past decade alone, the Foundation has granted over $1 million to support more than 90 organizations such as Child Advocates of Silicon Valley, the Bill Wilson Center, Assistance League of Los Gatos - Saratoga, and Silicon Valley Shakespeare.
5K Run/Walk for a Cause
New this year is the family-friendly 5K Run/Walk for a Cause on Saturday morning, May 4, at 9 a.m. around the scenic West Valley College campus and neighborhood that will benefit five local nonprofits. The first 400 who register will receive a free commemorative event T-shirt. Visit the race signup page to register.
