Energy Efficiency and Infrastructure in the Federal Market: NAESCO's 2024 Workshop Unveils Strategies and Insights on February 29, 2024, in Washington, D.C.

The National Association of Energy Service Companies (NAESCO) annually hosts a Federal Market Workshop in Washington, D.C. This one-day event brings together federal government officials, Energy Service Companies (ESCOs), and suppliers to discuss the outlook of energy efficiency and infrastructure in the federal market. Federal agency officials tasked with setting and implementing policy give an inside look into the activity happening in each agency and at the Department of Energy (DOE). The 2024 Federal Market Workshop will be held on February 29 at the National Housing Center (NAHB).

Performance-based contracts such as Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPCs) and Utility Energy Service Contracts (UESCs) are critical contracting methods for improving the infrastructure of federal buildings and military bases. This workshop will dive into the ESPC/UESC strategies and framework agencies have built to implement administration priorities and meet aggressive energy reduction goals.

"This event offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from those influencing and driving the activity in the market. Members walk away with tools and actionable steps they can use to prepare for ESPC and UESC work in the federal space," NAESCO Board Chair and Veregy CEO Wes Walker.

The workshop agenda includes speaking panels featuring distinguished federal agency officials from various military branches, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the General Services Administration (GSA), The Army, the Department of Energy, and more. Networking events will take place pre- and post-event, with a pre-workshop reception on February 28 at 5:00 EST at The Madison Hotel and a post-event reception at 4:45 PM EST in the Atrium of the National Housing Center (NAHB).

To register for the event, visit 2024 NAESCO Federal Market Workshop. Event sponsorships are available. The event is open to NAESCO members, trade associations/non-profits, public sector employees, and the press.
