The National Lifeline Association Board of Directors Re-Elects David Avila

KENNETT SQUARE, Pa., April 25, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The National Lifeline Association (NaLA) is pleased to announce that David Avila, Lifeline & GDP (Government Discount Programs) Executive of TracFone Wireless, Inc. a Verizon company, has been reelected for a third term by the voting members of the NaLA Board.

Avila, who will remain on the board for an additional three-year term, has 40 years of experience in both established and start-up telecom and technology companies across B2C/B2B segments. Avila is an expert at designing, executing, marketing and managing service/offer solutions to acquire and retain customers. He is recognized for strong strategic planning, tactical implementation, analytical and compliance skills.

Avila has led the Lifeline division of TracFone's Lifeline-focused brand, SafeLink Wireless, one of the largest Lifeline providers in the U.S. since 2015. In his role, Avila has been responsible for the development, marketing, sales, operations, and compliance of TracFone's Lifeline Services, setting strategy and execution.

In his NaLA Board role, Avila will continue to provide insight into how carriers, phone manufacturers, distributors, and other NaLA members can contribute to advancing the ACP and Lifeline programs, and whatever programs may evolve to address the digital divide.
