American Water Celebrates Earth Day 2024

American Water (NYSE: AWK), the largest regulated water and wastewater utility company in the U.S., shares tips for customers and the public to make Earth Day every day.

Protecting and conserving our water resources requires a collective effort from the community. Some materials can impact waterways if poured down the drain, flushed down the toilet, or dumped on the ground. The American Water Charitable Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization established by American Water, will announce later this month its 2024 Water and Environment grants, supporting clean water, conservation, environmental education, climate variability and water-based recreation projects.
