Next Wave Energy Partners Expands Senior Management Team


Next Wave Energy Partners, LP ("Next Wave") today announced that Sean Diamond has been promoted to Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer and Dan Fahey has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Engineering & Technology. Additionally, the Company has appointed Stephen Arata to the position of Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer.

Two of the four founding partners of Next Wave, Sean Diamond previously served as Senior Vice President, Operations & Commercial while Dan Fahey previously served as Vice President, Engineering & Technology.

A new addition to the company, Mr. Arata, a co-founder of Blue Racer Midstream, served as its Chief Financial Officer for three years before his promotion to Chief Executive Officer in 2015. At Blue Racer, Mr. Arata oversaw the development and financing of more than $2 billion of capital projects and arranged more than $4 billion of debt financing. Prior to Blue Racer, Mr. Arata served as Chief Financial Officer of Caiman Energy, where he led the sale of Caiman's main asset, Caiman Eastern, to Williams Companies for $2.5 billion. Prior to Caiman, Mr. Arata served as Chief Financial Officer of Regency Energy Partners, LP, a publicly traded master limited partnership. Shortly after joining Regency, he led the initial public offering of the company. Mr. Arata also spent nine years as an investment banker in the Power & Pipelines Group at UBS, where he advised on more than $80 billion of completed transactions.
