Drucker + Falk Celebrates Women's History Month Through Community Service
In support of its year-round commitment to giving back, company organized volunteer opportunities for several women-focused causes throughout the month of March
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., April 5, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In celebration of Women's History Month, Drucker + Falk (DF), one of the nation's leading multifamily management companies, organized six different women-focused volunteer opportunities for team members to participate in using their annual 'Day of Giving'.
Each year, DF employees are given eight paid hours to volunteer with the philanthropic cause of their choice, known as their 'Day of Giving'. The company organizes various service opportunities throughout the year, inviting employees to participate if they haven't chosen a non-profit. This Women's History Month, DF partnered with several non-profits supporting women's causes, offering team members a new way to give back during their annual 'Day of Giving'.
The following events were coordinated by DF as volunteer opportunities to show support for Women's History Month 2024:
The Women's Center of Wake County - Raleigh, NC
Sponsoring, serving, and cleaning up lunch for approximately 85 women.
The Healing Place for Women - Richmond, VA
Sponsoring and transporting dinner for 75 women.
HER Shelter - Hampton Roads, VA
Sponsoring dinner for 50 women + a diaper donation drive.
YWCA of Columbus - Columbus, OH
Sponsoring, serving, and cleaning up lunch for 100 women.
Dress for Success - Columbus, OH
Conducting a drive to gather hundreds of workwear, purses, shoes, and hygiene items.
A Safe Place - Wilmington, NC
Sponsoring and transporting lunch for 20 women.
