Green Plains Unveils New Specialty Feed Ingredient Brand

Green Plains Inc. (NASDAQ:GPRE) today unveiled a new brand for its specialty feed ingredient, reflecting its quality performance, versatile formulation opportunities, proven nutritional benefits, digestibility and low carbon footprint.

Sequencetm, a foundational feed ingredient produced at scale using proprietary mechanical separation technology, delivers a combination of corn and yeast protein, concentrated at a minimum of 60%. Green Plains has also achieved FSSC 22000 certification at multiple facilities, illustrating its strict adherence to food safety management specifications recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative.

"The Sequence brand identity is the result of in-depth research and creative efforts, and we are eager to release it onto the market," said Todd Becker, President and Chief Executive Officer. "It is the first specialty ingredient of its kind with proven digestive benefits and is produced exclusively at Green Plains' biorefineries. Full commercial scale production runs have now been successfully completed at multiple locations, and we are incredibly proud of the investment we've put behind our feed ingredient segment, as it has propelled us to the front of the pack in this market. Sequence is a low carbon-intensity ingredient that truly stacks up."

"Sequence is the first building block for superior nutrition," said Leslie van der Meulen, Executive Vice President, Product Marketing and Innovation. "It elevates the nutritional baseline, enabling customers to truly tailor their feed rations, and delivering far more value than a single ingredient could. Sequence empowers our customers to formulate and feed with confidence."
