Universal Tractor Co. ("UTC") is a factory authorized dealer and distributor for Kubota Tractor Corporation, Land Pride, and MultiQuip Power Generators. The dealership was established by the McCarty family in 1950 and has been at its current location at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Denver, Colorado since 1967. UTC was founded by Alston and Ann McCarty, who created a legacy business that has remained family-owned and operated for 74 years. It has supported the growing McCarty family, consisting of ten children and twenty-two grandchildren. Ann and Alston's sons, Thomas and Murray McCarty, joined the family business in the late 1960's and early 1980's respectively, taking over leadership in the late 1980's. Thomas serves as President and Murray as Vice President of Sales.
