VPTax Expands Startup Tax Services, Announces New Leadership Appointments

Lynn Ames has held senior positions in both public accounting and corporations. Notably, Lynn led the tax practice at Ernst & Young in the Salt Lake City office and served as Tax Director at Ballard Medical Products. Most recently, Lynn was a principal at Knox Capital Group, which merged with CAPTRUST in 2018, an independent investment advisory firm which oversees more than $800 billion in assets. Nathan Burt began his career at Deloitte in the audit practice before assuming the role of controller at KORR Medical Technologies. He later returned to public accounting with Ernst & Young in Salt Lake City. For the past eight years, Nate has served as VP of Global Tax for Pluralsight LLC, overseeing all areas of business tax, including leading tax analysis for the company's "UP-C" IPO. David Heap, a seasoned professional with a proven track record in revenue generation, steps into the role of Chief Revenue Officer, leading initiatives to drive growth with VPTax referral partners and enhance client engagement throughout the organization. Stephen Day has been a part of the VPTax leadership team since 2017. Although Stephen is stepping away from direct client-facing work, he will continue to ensure value delivery to VPTax clients in his new role as Chief Financial & Operations Officer.
