hoopla Digital Announces Latest BingePass with medici.tv, Bringing World-Renowned Classical Music and Fine Arts Video Platform to Libraries


hoopla Digital, the only all-in-one digital media app for public libraries and their patrons, today announced a partnership with medici.tv, the world's premier source for classical music programming, to launch a new BingePass.

medici.tv streams live events from prestigious halls like Carnegie Hall, La Scala, the Royal Opera House and the Paris Opera worldwide. Their extensive video-on-demand catalog is now accessible with the hoopla BingePass and includes 1,500 concerts, 350 operas, 150 ballets, 1,300 documentaries, 250 master classes, and 550 jazz performances. Through the partnership, patrons of participating libraries will receive unlimited access for a week to all of this content for free with a library card.

The streaming events are accessible both in real-time and as recordings for a limited time after the event on the medici.tv platform. The platform is accessible in four languages?English, French, Spanish, and Russian?and individual performances come with various subtitled language options.
