Windstream named Top Women Employer for 2024

Windstream has been named a Top Women Employer for 2024 by DiversityComm magazine.

"As we observe Women's History Month, Windstream is honored to be recognized as a top employer of women," said Mary Michaels, chief human resources officer at Windstream. "As a company, we strive to foster a work environment that reflects and contributes to the diverse communities where we do business. As part of that, we will continue to connect and empower women."

Earlier this year, DiversityComm recognized Windstream as a Top Employer for the Black Community and a Top Employer for the Hispanic Community.

"These three accomplishments underscore our commitment to our Culture of Innovation and Belonging," Michaels said. "Our culture of innovation means that collectively, our organization continually pursues opportunities to improve the experience for our customers and ourselves while our culture of belonging results in more connected, engaged, creative, and confident team members."

DiversityComm's "Best of the Best" lists recognize organizations that have gone above and beyond to create more inclusive, equitable workspaces where diverse talent can be recruited, developed and retained. Companies are recognized for their commitment to uplifting values and fostering a great workplace culture. The list was compiled from market research, independent research, diversity conference participation and survey responses that were performed by DiversityComm's agents and/or affiliates.
