MARKHAM, ON, March 6, 2024 /CNW/ - The Minister of Transport, Pablo Rodriguez, and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship and Member of Parliament for Markham?Unionville, Paul Chiang, will make an important funding announcement about Rail Safety Improvement Program projects that will improve the safety of railways in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Areas. They will be joined by the Mayor of the City of Markham, His Worship Frank Scarpitti, and the Chief Operating Officer of Rapid Transit at Metrolinx, Mr. Steve Levene.
