Brasada Ranch Breaks Ground on New Neighborhood: The Treehouses, a Mountain Dwelling Concept

Brasada Ranch has broken ground on The Treehouse neighborhood at Brasada Ranch ? a collaboration with Rozewski & Co. and Baxter Builders that offers a new dwelling style and neighborhood featuring 22 homes within the luxury residential resort community overlooking the scenic Cascade Range.

The Treehouses's architectural design maximizes views while minimizing maintenance and aligning with the highly sought-after mountain lifestyle of Central Oregon. The Treehouses are planned and designed to offer buyers mountain modern style and a streamlined buy and build process, along with environmentally conscious and outdoor-friendly touches that enable an effortless path to ownership and participation at Brasada Ranch.

"People come to Brasada Ranch to slow down to the speed of life and live more intentionally," says Alan Cornelius, Principal Broker of Brasada Ranch Real Estate. "The Treehouses represent a unique fusion of luxury and nature, offering an idyllic retreat for those seeking a blend of comfort, style, and connection to the outdoors. With their innovative mountain modern design, these homes are a testament to our commitment to quality and sustainability. Each Treehouse is not just a residence, but a gateway to embracing the quintessential Ranch lifestyle. Whether it's enjoyed as a seasonal stay or as a highly efficient permanent home, the Treehouses provide a perfect balance of luxury and environmental consciousness."

There is a characteristic understated manner among Brasada Ranch residents, or as Cornelius calls it, a preference for anti-drama, which doesn't exist at other private luxury resorts. "The Brasada Ranch experience enables homeowners and guests to slow down and reflect on what really matters in life," he says. "Whether people are playing golf, taking a horseback ride, or having a holistic spa experience, the Treehouses at Brasada Ranch offer the ideal basecamp for a higher quality of life."

The design comes from Central Oregon-based Rozewski & Co., an award-winning firm that has already created exceptional custom homes at Brasada Ranch. At The Treehouses, owners select from three color, finish, and appliance packages, all of which ensure an exceptional design suited to the landscape and one's taste. Owners have the option to customize their home with upgrade options including appliances from Wolf/Sub-Zero, Kohler plumbing fixtures, flooring, countertops, backsplashes, and more.

The strong respect for nature found throughout Brasada Ranch extends to the building approach employed by Central Oregon-based Baxter Builders, who are experts in panelized processes and materials that enhance LEED and cost efficiency without compromising craft and quality. The Treehouses are efficient to construct, as well as energy-efficient to heat and cool.

A total of 22 Treehouses are available and built upon purchase. The four models are named for trees native to the region and suited to various Brasada Ranch lifestyles. The larger Grand Fir is nearly 3,400 square feet while The Aspen, Tamarack, and Grand Fir models range from 1,800-2,220 square feet. The Treehouses are priced starting from $1.45 million.

The new dwellings are built on gently sloped land and offer sleek, modern architectural features. High ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows and doors create impressive living, dining, and kitchen spaces. Large decks on each level are suspended by cement and steel with stellar mountain and sky views (the Tamarack Treehouses also feature suspended driveways).

The Treehouses were designed to require minimum maintenance, from xeriscaping and the preservation of the natural landscape to designing the homes so they can be "locked and left" should owners care to visit them seasonally; for example, a homeowner could enjoy summer in Central Oregon and then leave the home during the winter ? or vice versa.

The new neighborhood surrounding The Treehouses at Brasada Ranch will be a tight-knit community where no short-term rentals will be permitted. A shared 1/3-acre park and dog zone will complement the landscape and feature expansive mountain views.

Homeownership within The Treehouses neighborhood comes with membership to The Club at Brasada Ranch and access to all the amenities, services, and events that have propelled Brasada Ranch to #11 on Travel + Leisure's 15 Favorite Resorts in the West and #4 on Conde Nast Traveler's Top 5 Resorts in the Pacific Northwest.

The Club at Brasada Ranch features:
