IE Business School and the Laidlaw Foundation Launch Scholarship Fund for Women to earn their MBAs


With The Laidlaw Women's Leadership Fund, IE University aims to support the education and advancement of women dedicated to making a positive impact on the world through ethical leadership.

LONDON, March 5, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- IE Business School, through the IE Foundation, and the Laidlaw Foundation have together announced the launch of The Laidlaw Women's Leadership Fund, which will offer MBA and EMBA partial and full scholarships at IE Business School to highly talented women from all over the world who would not otherwise be able to afford the world-class education and networks that IE provides.

We are committed to addressing the pernicious and persistent problem of too few women in the C-Suite. By providing Scholarships at the brilliant IE Business School, we hope to propel more extraordinary women into leadership roles." - Susanna Kempe, CEO of the Laidlaw Foundation.

The Laidlaw Women's Leadership Fund, supported by both foundations in a matching funds scheme, will support up to 24 scholars per year over a three-year period, starting with the September 2024 intake. Candidates for these scholarships who demonstrate extraordinary leadership potential, a commitment to paying it forward, and real financial need, are encouraged from all over the world.

IE Laidlaw Scholars will receive bespoke programming including invaluable networking, mentoring and events.
