Data Center Leaders from Compass Datacenters and Schneider Electric to Keynote Data Center BUILD

Data Center World, the leading global conference for data center facilities and IT professionals and AFCOM's annual global gathering, today announces that Nancy Novak, Chief Innovation Officer at Compass Datacenters, and Phanney Brevard, Head of Strategy and Business at Schneider Electric, will deliver the keynote address "How to Truly Integrate Your Supply Chain" at Data Center BUILD on April 17.

Data Center BUILD is a construction and design summit that brings together operators, decision-makers, experts and implementers to help drive smart decisions for data center growth. The executive-level summit provides information and connections needed to design and build data centers and takes place on April 17-18 in Washington, D.C. during Data Center World 2024.

Supply chain issues continue to impact the data center industry and highlight the need for developers to align with major suppliers to develop tighter supply relationships. An effective, adaptive supply chain delivers a competitive advantage in the provider marketplace. In this keynote presentation, Novak and Brevard will discuss the next evolution in supply chain partnerships; namely, on-site manufacturing partnerships.

With more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Novak brings extensive expertise in oversight and responsibility for profit and loss. As Chief Innovation Officer, her focus is on cutting-edge technology, lean practices and innovative culture through the diversity of thought to add value, improve return on investment and disrupt the construction industry. Novak serves on the Executive Board of Directors for NIBS, the Board of Directors for the World Trade Center Institute and the Board of Directors for Weston Solutions. Novak is also an Executive Sponsor for the Digital Divide on the iMasons Advisory Board. She is involved in organizations that lead the way for technological advancement in the construction industry, and she is an advocate for women's leadership. To further her advocacy, Novak also hosts the "Extending the Ladder" podcast, which features dynamic conversations with prominent women in the technology industry sharing insights, advice and inspiration that listeners can apply to their own professional lives.

Brevard brings over a decade of global management experience in business strategy and IT from hardware, software and research/advisory organizations. As Schneider Electric's Head of Strategy and Business, she is responsible for leading ETAP business strategy formulation, including mergers and acquisitions and Enterprise IT/Digital strategy and operations. Previously, she was the Head of DCS Strategy and Transformation within Schneider Electric's Energy Management business unit. At Gartner, where Brevard began her career, her experience in advisory, risk analysis, quantitative research, custom research and consulting fueled her passion for data and insights. Her expertise in distilling data and information has led to successful professional experiences at Invensys plc, Aveva and Schneider Electric.

"Our Summit was designed for executive-level professionals to hear from thought leaders who understand the mission critical business of constructing data centers. Both Nancy and Phanney are key figures in the data center industry and will provide attendees with information and best practices to design and build data centers with certainty. We look forward to their presentation," said Bill Kleyman, Data Center & Technology Executive, Neu.ro Board Member, Data Center World Program Chair and Data Center Knowledge Contributing Editor.
