Space Nation Hosts Fireside Chat with Roland Emmerich and Jerome Wu around Game Developers Conference

Space Nation Inc., the pioneering transmedia entertainment company behind the upcoming Space Nation Online MMORPG, today announced plans to host an engaging fireside chat with co-founders Jerome Wu and Roland Emmerich timed to this year's Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco. Industry pros who are in town for GDC can expect a lively discussion on immersive world-building, as Wu, who launched World of Warcraft in China, and Emmerich, the acclaimed Hollywood filmmaker behind Independence Day, dig into the nuts-and-bolts process of crafting compelling new stories that span across film, TV, and games.

The conversation will take place just minutes away from the Moscone Center at The Howard SF on March 19th at 3PM PT. It will be open to members of the media with limited availability for the public.

"This is the first time we'll really be able to explain the process and philosophy that's been guiding the development process for the game, so I'm looking forward to giving sci-fi fans a look behind the curtain to see how we're putting it all together."

The March appearance, which will also bring a first opportunity for press to check out Space Nation Online's gameplay, arrives just a week ahead of the upcoming space opera MMORPG's closed beta launch.

"While still in development, the early slice of gameplay available to media at GDC and in the closed beta will showcase the expansive possibilities presented in Space Nation Online," said Jerome Wu, co-founder and CEO of Space Nation Inc. "The team has been hard at work creating a groundbreaking experience for players that is powered by a Web3 economy and will offer them a world they can truly be a part of."

Once the beta concludes, Space Nation Online will begin its soft launch over the summer, followed by a full release in fall 2024.
