ChimeTV's Jinky Dolar Receives 2024 Lunar New Year Excellence Award From Sacramento State Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Center


ChimeTV, America's only 24/7 English language AAPI-focused entertainment television network, is proud to announce that Director of Ad Sales Jinky Dolar will receive the 2024 Lunar New Year Excellence Award from the Sacramento State Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Center.

The mission of the APIDA Center is to foster, retain, and empower the academic and personal development of APIDA students. They fulfill this mission by serving as a resource hub and to advocate for the needs of APIDA students. The Center promotes and affirms the experiences of students who identify as part of the Asian, Pacific Islander, and Desi diaspora. The Center educates and engages with students to foster holistic, academic, and personal development to raise cultural awareness and advocacy needs. Across Sacramento State and in the community, the Center is committed to holding space to cultivate collaboration to address the unique and diverse needs of APIDA students and issues impacting these communities.

The APIDA Center's 2024 Lunar New Year Award recognizes individuals and organizations who support and demonstrate an active commitment to Asian Pacific Islander Desi students and serve as an exemplary advocate for their academic excellence and career success.

Jinky Dolar will receive the award during the Lunar New Year Awards Luncheon, which is scheduled to take place on February 1, 2024. This event, occurring 10 days before the official start of the Lunar New Year, will be held at the Sacramento State University Union Redwoods Room. Sacramento State's President Wood will be in attendance to provide remarks.
