Mark your calendars and bring your appetite, because Bob & Edith's Diner is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its newest location on Wednesday, January 31st! After months of anticipation, we are ready to open our doors at 9221 Sudley Rd, Manassas, VA 20110, and can't wait to welcome you to the Bob & Edith's Diner family.
Bob & Edith's Diner has been a beloved fixture in the dining scene since its inception in 1969, when Robert L. Bolton (Bob) and his wife Edith purchased "Gary's Donut Dinette" and transformed it into the iconic diner we know today. With the support of their four children ? Mike, Pinky, Nancy, and Greg ? they built a family business that has stood the test of time.
In 1982, Bob expanded the diner from a 10-stool counter to 5 stools and 7 booths, and in 1987, the diner took its current form. The legacy continued with Bob passing the torch to his sons, Robert Jr. (Pinky) and Greg, in the early 1990s. After the unfortunate passing of Pinky in 1995, Greg and his wife Victoria became the sole owners, guiding the diner to continued success. Now, as of November 2023, Bob and Edith's Diner has celebrated over 54 years of outstanding service to Columbia Pike, Arlington County, and the entire Washington, D.C. area.
Our new Manassas Corner location will initially operate from 6 AM to 10 PM daily, with plans to transition to 24/7 service soon. Stay tuned on our social media channels for the big announcement when we'll be serving around the clock!
