Walmart.com customers "round up" to Spark Good for military families, helping raise more than $3.2 million for Operation Homefront


Customers shopping at Walmart.com support national nonprofit serving America's military and veteran families

SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 29, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Operation Homefront, the national nonprofit whose mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families, announced today that Walmart and its loyal customers raised over $3.2 million for the organization. From October 23 to November 30, Walmart engaged customers by matching donations 2:1 when customers donated to Operation Homefront and other veterans' charitable organizations at checkout on Walmart.com through Spark Good Round Up. This donation will make the New Year brighter for military families who are struggling to make ends meet.

To date, Operation Homefront has fulfilled more than 56,000 unique requests, providing more than $41 million in assistance. This donation will help Operation Homefront provide relief and recurring support to military families facing various challenges.

Walmart has been a proud supporter of Operation Homefront since 2006. They have provided cash and in-kind support for Operation Homefront's Critical Financial Assistance, Back-to-School Brigade, Holiday Meals for Military programs, and more.
