The MolinaCares Accord Supports Washington Community Organizations to Address Health Disparities


The MolinaCares Accord ("MolinaCares"), together with Molina Healthcare of Washington, recently donated $350,000 in grants to further advance programs enhancing health equity.

Washington state ranks second in the country for most unhoused people per capita, according to data from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. And food and housing costs continue to rise, often impacting the resources available for many to access health care, particularly those in underserved communities.

MolinaCares will help extend services in the following areas:

"At CCEW, we are thrilled to partner with organizations that share our mission to combat homelessness and provide expanded services to families that struggle with this issue," said Rob McCann, president and CEO of CCEW. "The MolinaCares grant will support a care coordination program for individuals now living in one of our Haven apartments and offer wrap-around support to meet their specific needs."
