Media advisory: Ontario's Information and Privacy Commissioner to host panel on artificial intelligence in the public sector
TORONTO, Jan. 22, 2024 /CNW/ - To mark Data Privacy Day, Patricia Kosseim, Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario, will host a panel discussion about the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the public sector, with privacy experts from the public sector, academia, and advocacy groups.
The discussion will focus on the necessities, challenges, and opportunities of regulating AI technologies to ensure they are used in ways that are safe, transparent, accountable, and ethically responsible.
