Messagepoint Healthcare Touchpoint Exchange Wins 2024 BIG Innovation Award

Messagepoint announced it has been named a winner in the 2024 BIG Innovation Awards presented by the Business Intelligence Group in the Software category for its Healthcare Touchpoint Exchange, a purpose-built SaaS solution that enables Medicare Advantage Organizations (MAOs) to dramatically reduce the workload, timelines and costs associated with health plan communications and materials preparation.

"For too long, Medicare Advantage Organizations have relied on old school services and technologies to manage their member communications, bearing risks, exorbitant cost and labor burdens in the process," said Sohail Malik, vice president, Healthcare Solutions at Messagepoint. "We are pleased that Messagepoint's Healthcare Touchpoint Exchange has won a BIG Innovation Award for providing critical innovation that enables MAOs to achieve accuracy and compliance, efficiency and economies of scale across all member communications."

Messagepoint's Healthcare Touchpoint Exchange is a game-changing solution designed to support MAOs in preparing plan communications and materials for the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP). These materials are regulated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and health plans must meet stringent requirements under tight deadlines to ensure compliance. The Messagepoint platform provides a unique approach that substantially reduces the cost of preparing CMS compliance documents, including Annual Notice of Change (ANOC), Evidence of Coverage (EOC) and Summary of Benefits (SB), as well as servicing communications, pre- and post-enrollment materials and other sales and marketing materials and documents by:

Messagepoint recently updated its solution to support the ingestion of the PBP's new JSON files directly into the platform, ensuring plan documents and materials are perfectly aligned with the benefit information submitted to CMS.

"Innovation is driving our society," said Maria Jimenez, chief nominations officer of the Business Intelligence Group. "We are thrilled to be honoring Messagepoint as they are leading by example and improving the lives of so many."

Organizations from across the globe submitted their recent innovations for consideration in the BIG Innovation Awards. Nominations were then judged by a select group of business leaders and executives who volunteer their time and expertise to score submissions.
