Intero Welcomes Top Producing Teams Back to the Family from Compass and Real Estate Experts
Intero, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate and wholly owned subsidiary of HomeServices of America, Inc., is pleased to announce the return of Joe Velasco Group and Lex Orosco Group to Intero's Cupertino location.
Joe Velasco is a top-performing real estate agent and team leader at the Joe Velasco Group, with over 20 years of experience and more than $1.8 billion in sales. Prior to joining Compass, he spent many years at Intero Real Estate Services, where he consistently ranked as one of the top sales agents and was a member of the brokerage's prestigious Chairman's Circle from 2011 to 2017. After briefly departing Intero for Compass in 2017, Velasco officially returned to the brokerage on January 2, 2024.

After briefly departing Intero in 2018, Lex Orosco officially returned to the brokerage from Real Estate Experts on December 31, 2023. With over 10 years of experience and more than $600 million in sales, he has consistently ranked in the top 1% of real estate professionals nationwide for the past four years. Orosco is in the top 0.0070% of agents in the United States for residential sales volume, with a rank of 111 on the 2023 RealTrends + Tom Ferry The Thousand. Featured on the 2023 America's Best list for exemplary sales production in 2022 in the state of CA, Orosco ranked number 25 for sides and number 40 for residential sales volume, as well as number 1 for transaction sides and residential sales volume as an individual agent in San Jose, CA. Orosco brings Matt Dequiroz with him.
