Cboe Canada Welcomes Guardian Capital LP For Inaugural Launch of Defined Maturity Bond ETFs


Today, Cboe Canada Inc. welcomes Guardian Capital LP ("Guardian Capital") for the launch of five new funds. The suite of five funds invests in investment grade bonds with varying defined maturity dates and are now available for trading under the following symbols:

"GuardBondstm are actively managed funds, each with a pre-defined maturity date that corresponds to a specific calendar year, which will allow investors to access a diversified proxy for individual bonds, and will seek to provide better overall tax efficiency through their focus on investing in discount bonds. With today's launch, Guardian Capital LP has become the 22nd fund issuer with products listed on Cboe Canada. Units of the Guardian Capital funds can be traded through the usual investment channels, including discount brokerage platforms and full-service dealers.
