AshBritt Foundation Supports Nancy J. Cotterman Center

The AshBritt Foundation has committed $100,000 to the Nancy J. Cotterman Center in Broward County, Florida.

Randy Perkins, Founder and Chairman of AshBritt and the AshBritt Foundation, and AshBritt Chief Executive Officer, Brittany Perkins Castillo, presented the check at a recent Broward County Commissioners meeting.

The donation will be instrumental in funding operating supplies and needs of the Nancy J. Cotterman Center, including books and toys, clothes, and medical supplies for the center.

"AshBritt and the Perkins family, through our corporate foundation as well as the family's foundation, have a long history of supporting children's advocacy centers in Florida and across the country," said Randy Perkins, Founder and Chairman, AshBritt, Inc. and the AshBritt Foundation and member of the Board of Directors of Lauren's Kids. "From rebuilding the Gulf Coast Advocacy Center in Panama City following Hurricane Michael to supporting the operating needs of the Cotterman Center today, we hold deep appreciation for the work of counselors, social workers, medical professionals, law enforcement, attorneys, county staff, volunteers - all the people these centers bring together to advocate tirelessly for children and families impacted by crimes against children. We are proud to support this center in providing critical services for our community."

"The work done at Broward County's Nancy J. Cotterman Center is so important to this community," said Monica Cepero, County Administrator. "As the County's only Certified Sexual Assault Program, Accredited Children's Advocacy Center and Child Protection, its work turns victims into survivors. It's very encouraging to see that others recognize this and support their programs and services. I am incredibly grateful for the AshBritt Foundation's generous donation to the Center. Their support means so much and will go a long way."
