Jackson House Acquires Cameron Care, Inc. to Enhance Mental Health Residential Services in Multnomah County


In a strategic move to elevate mental health residential services and enhance their impact, Jackson House has acquired Cameron Care, creating a dynamic alliance in the mental health residential sector.

The acquisition brings together two providers who share a commitment to advancing mental health care in our community, delivering innovative solutions, and improving accessibility for individuals seeking support.

Under conditions of the deal, Jackson House will acquire a majority interest in Cameron Care, Inc. with owner Corey Cameron continuing as Executive Director of the 39-bed residential treatment provider. The new entity is called Cameron Care, LLC.

  3. Streamlined Operations: The acquisition will result in streamlined operations, leading to increased efficiency in service delivery to more fully support the recovery journey of those in their care.

About Jackson House

Jackson House provides residential mental health treatment to community members at its intimate, non-institutional, home-like facilities. Jackson House was formed to provide a comfortable environment for people that don't or no longer require inpatient hospitalization but need 24-hour support and treatment to gain and retain the tools to manage their mental illness. Currently, Jackson House operates seven (7) Residential Mental Health Treatment Facilities and one (1) Residential Treatment Facility for Addictive Diseases in California. These Jackson House facilities, located in San Diego, Riverside, Ventura, Tulare, and Imperial counties, provide quality, evidenced-based care to clients. Jackson House also operates (under the name West Coast Recovery Centers) an Addiction and Mental Health Outpatient Treatment facility in San Diego County, California.

Jackson House will open its first privately developed 16-bed residential treatment facility in Clackamas County and first outpatient mental health clinic in North Portland in early 2024.
