MEDIA Advisory - Uncle Vinny's Toy Drive Donates Hundreds of Toys

SURREY, BC, Dec. 19, 2023 /CNW/ - The Salvation Army will be picking up toy donations to help families who may not be able to afford gifts this Christmas at the Maan family home which has been the headquarters for the third annual Uncle Vinny's Toy Drive. Named after the late Vinny Maan the toy drive carries on his tradition of gift giving as collection boxes have been set up throughout the Lower Mainland in local businesses.

"Knowing we are making a positive impact on so families and children over the holidays is so healing and rewarding," says Pinder, Vinny's sister and organizer of the toy drive. "Vinny would love to see smiles on the children's faces. I don't think we could have found a better way to honor him and carry on this legacy. I know he is smiling down on us and we are #makingvinnyproud."

The campaign ran from November 12th ? December 10th and is hoping to help hundreds of more children after having collected nearly 3,000 toys over the last two years.

We invite the media down to join us. Photo-ops and interviews available.
