The North Carolina Partnership for Children Wins Aeroflow Breastpumps' 5th Annual Pumping Room Makeover

Aeroflow Breastpumps awarded $10,000 to the North Carolina nonprofit organization to provide a pumping room makeover for the company's working parents

ASHEVILLE, N.C., Dec. 13, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Aeroflow Breastpumps, the leading breast pump distributor and breastfeeding resource center, is thrilled to announce the winner of its fifth annual Pumping Room Makeover Contest: The North Carolina Partnership for Children (NCPC), the state-level, nonprofit organization that oversees North Carolina's innovative, award-winning Smart Start initiative.

The contest received hundreds of entries from businesses around the U.S. committed to helping people with physical, cognitive, behavioral and socio-economic challenges. The NCPC was selected as Aeroflow Breastpumps' $10,000 Grand Prize winner and will be using the donation to remodel the company's pumping room with new equipment and resources for its working mothers.

The Pumping Room Makeover is an annual contest that Aeroflow Breastpumps began in August 2018 in response to an overwhelming amount of feedback from mothers who are tired of nursing and pumping in closets, bathrooms, conference rooms, the car, etc. throughout the workday. These challenging conditions often make it difficult for working moms to produce milk and ultimately forces many to choose between feeding their babies and going back to work.
