/R E P E A T -- Media advisory - Minister Guilbeault to make an announcement on new funding for protecting green spaces in Montréal/


MONTRÉAL, Nov. 9, 2023 /CNW/ - Media representatives are advised that the Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, alongside the Honourable Soraya Martinez Ferrada, Minister of Tourism and Minister responsible for the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, will make an announcement on new funding for protecting green spaces in Montréal.  

They will be joined by Pierre Lessard-Blais, Borough Mayor of Mercier?Hochelaga-Maisonneuve; Alia Hassan-Cournol, City of Montréal Councillor for the district of Maisonneuve?Longue-Pointe, Sophie Mauzerolle, Responsible for urban planning and mobility on the executive committee of the City of Montréal; and Karine Boivin Roy, Member of the National Assembly for Anjou?Louis-Riel.

Following the announcement, Minister Guilbeault will participate in a media availability.
