US Marine Corps Veteran and Owner John Merwald was recognized for his recruiting and hiring of Veterans in the North Idaho and Spokane communities.

The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (HIRE Vets Act) Medallion Program is the only federal award program that recognizes employers who successfully recruit, hire, and retain Veterans. United States Marine Corps Veteran John Merwald is the owner and discovered the program through the Veteran representative at the North Idaho Labor Board.
