Building Industry Association of Southern California Offers Complimentary Show Floor Pass to Veterans at the 2023 Building Industry Show

The Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIASC) is pleased to announce that it will be hosting the 2023 Building Industry Show on October 25-26, 2023 at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. This year's show will be co-hosted by BIASC and the Building Industry Association San Diego (BIASD) in celebration of their centennial and 85th anniversary years, respectively.

The Building Industry Show is the largest and most comprehensive building trade show in Southern California. The show features a wide range of products and services from all aspects of the building industry, including construction, development, design, and finance.

In an effort to connect veterans with the many opportunities available in the building industry, BIASC is offering complimentary passes to veterans who are interested in attending the show floor. To register for a free pass, veterans can visit the Building Industry Show website.

There will also be a dedicated time slot for veterans to mingle specifically with builders attending the show at "Meet the Veteran." This special half hour event will take place immediately prior to the "Meet the Builder," an event where attendees can meet builders one-on-one on the show floor. Veterans can also stop by BIASC's Veteran Booth for additional resources provided by BIASC's Builders for Better Communities Foundation (BBCF), a charitable nonprofit that serves to promote diversity, equity, and inclusiveness on behalf BIASC within the Southern California region.

"We are proud to offer veterans the opportunity to attend the Building Industry Show for free," said BIASC CEO Jeff Montejano. "The building industry is a thriving sector of the Southern California economy, and we are committed to helping veterans connect with the many opportunities available in our field."

In addition to the show floor, the Building Industry Show also features a number of educational seminars and keynote speakers who will share on a variety of topics related to the building industry, business, artificial intelligence and the future of housing, and more. These sessions are a great opportunity for veterans to network with industry experts in homebuilding.

"We encourage all veterans who are interested in pursuing a career in the building industry to attend the 2023 Building Industry Show," said Montejano. "This is a great opportunity to learn more about the industry and network with other professionals."
