OTTAWA, ON, Sept. 28, 2023 /CNW/ - The Royal Canadian Mint is unveiling a special two?dollar circulation coin honouring Jean Paul Riopelle, one of the most influential artists of the mid-20^th century, in Canada and the world. The launch of this new coin, featuring Riopelle's celebrated work will take place at the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa, which will later host Riopelle: Crossroads in Time, an exhibition coinciding with the centennial celebrations of Jean Paul Riopelle's birth.
