Preferred Utilities Manufacturing Expands Distribution into Central America


Preferred Utilities' advanced boiler, burners, and combustion systems solutions are available in Latin America.

DANBURY, Conn., Sept. 18, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Preferred Utilities Manufacturing, an engineering-based manufacturer of low & ultra-low NOx burners, boiler/burner control systems, instrumentation, and fuel oil handling systems, announces today that they have completed a strategic expansion into the Central American market. The company has selected EQUIGAS|SETEC as its first Central American sales representative to support customers and end-users in Costa Rica.

Headquartered in San Jose, Costa Rica, EQUIGAS|SETEC has been in business since 1954. They are experienced in working with refineries, power and processing plants, hospitals, hotels, sugar mills, and other industrial and utility customers in the region, providing engineering expertise in custom boilers, heat transfer, steam and hot water production, and process flow control solutions.
