The American Transplant Foundation to Host 5th Annual Trivia For Life Event

Trivia For Life, a charity event featuring a trivia competition, was created by living kidney donor Gregg Farber in 2017 to bring the transplant and business community together for an evening of fun and friendly competition while raising money for the most vulnerable living organ donors, transplant recipients, and their families. The event supports the American Transplant Foundation's vision, ensuring that Colorado is the first state where no one dies while waiting for a transplant.

The 5th Annual Trivia For Life will take place on Friday, September 29th, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at DaVita World Headquarters' Sky Lounge in Downtown Denver.

According to the American Transplant Foundation Executive Director Anastasia Henry, "Last year, our Trivia For Life event in memory of our Founder Steve Farber was extremely successful and incredibly memorable. We're looking forward to another unforgettable Trivia For Life event this year, where we will be honoring Olympic gold medalist and living kidney donor Crissy Perham."

Perham saved the life of Dick Franklin, the father of fellow gold-medalist Olympian and Colorado native Missy Franklin. The American Transplant Foundation worked with the Franklin family during their transplant journey in 2022. In honor of Perham's life-saving donation, this year's theme is ?Going For The Gold'.

Given the theme, the organization expects several other Olympians to attend, helping to inspire all with the Olympic Spirit. Guests can also expect to see a familiar face helping to run the show; Colorado's own Kim Christensen will be the official Event MC.

Attendees will enjoy an open bar all night, eat like they are at the Olympic Village, and experience an evening of entertainment that would rival any Olympic Closing Ceremony. Participants will compete in several rounds of not-so-cut-throat Trivia, a high-end Silent Auction, and a lightning-quick game of winner-takes-it-all True or False.

Ticket prices range from $200-$250, with discounts available for living donors and transplant recipients, and can be purchased at www.trivia4life.org.
