LogiX Biosciences Founder Describes Mission to ?Solve the Unsolvable' in Preventing Cold and Flu

Gavin Gear, the founder and CEO of Monterey, California based startup LogiX Biosciences, issued a statement this week that the company is making significant progress in the groundbreaking field of Nasal Immune Modulation. To date, the company has raised approximately $1 million in seed funding and has completed its latest round of research and engaging with several strategic partners in its mission to prevent coughs, colds and flu without the use of corticosteroids.

"We've uncovered some tremendous breakthroughs and are looking forward to unveiling a non-steroidal, natural immune modulation approach in the near future," said Gear. "We believe we can reshape disease prevention by enhancing the body's natural defenses, focusing on the nasal cavity. This isn't just symptom treatment?it's a revolution in health."

"Our research has been incredibly revealing and promising," added Gear. "We are working towards unveiling an approach a game-changing approach to clearing the microbial challenges of today: infections, viral and bacterial intruders, allergens, and biofilm ? essentially solving what was previously considered unsolvable."

Gear has asserted that taking a proactive and preventive approach at the point of entry, the nose, is crucial to combating illness. He explained that the immune system plays a significant role in preventing diseases, and since 80% of the immune system's work is done in the nose, maintaining nasal health is essential for overall well-being. LogiX Biosciences has been developing its soon-to-be-announced solution.

Gear added that it is essential to keep the nose sanitized and clean, allowing it to perform its natural preventive function, whether it's children exposed to germs at school, adults exposed to pathogens at work, or families traveling during the summer.

"Antibiotics have attracted much attention as one of the most important factors that causes microbial dysbiosis during infancy and are linked to a higher risk of diseases with immune involvement in later life, including infectious diseases," said Gear. "With mounting scientific evidence suggesting that antibiotic-driven dysbiosis reduces resistance to infection, it is time for a solution that actually prevents illness and doesn't just treat the symptoms."

Focused on the emerging field of Nasal Immune Modulation, LogiX Biosciences, based in Monterey, CA, is dedicated to reshaping disease prevention by enhancing the body's natural defenses, focusing on the nasal cavity for a healthier future.
