"We are excited to share our plans to advance the restoration of Yosemite's Hetch Hetchy Valley, while assuring that not a single drop of water supply is lost," said Restore Hetch Hetchy Executive Director Spreck Rosekrans. "As public demand for Yosemite is at an all-time high, it has never been clearer that is time to return access to Yosemite Valley's lost twin, Hetch Hetchy ? a majestic glacier-carved valley with towering cliffs and waterfalls, an untamed place where river and wildlife run free, a new kind of national park."

An avid supporter of restoring Hetch Hetchy, Robinson says "the flooding of Hetch Hetchy was a knife thrust into the heart of the wilderness movement."
