The Third Estimate Partners with NEOPAT to Give Veteran Couple a Life-Changing Exterior Home Makeover
Veterans received a complete exterior home makeover with new roofing, windows, siding, door and flagpole
SOLON, Ohio, June 21, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Third Estimate, a Northeast Ohio leader in exterior home remodeling, partnered with The Northeast Ohio Foundation for Patriotism (NEOPAT) to provide a complete exterior home makeover to a veteran couple in need.
Tara Colopy, chief executive officer at The Third Estimate, expressed excitement when discussing the opportunity to help local veterans. Because of their dedication to serve, Dillon Rodriguez and Keslie Honeycutt were the selected giveaway winners. After meeting in Kuwait with the Army National Guard, Rodriquez served as a Cleveland police officer and Honeycutt is an elementary school counselor.
The couple bought a home and soon after discovered significant issues like mold and leaks. Also, on January 21, 2022, Rodriguez was involved in a severe car accident while on duty as a police officer, forcing him out of work and requiring extensive surgery. The couple's financial and physical limitations exacerbated their challenging situation, leaving them unable to address their home's critical repairs.
The Third Estimate, in collaboration with NEOPAT, Owens Corning, Vytex Windows, ABC Supply and Tri-County Electric, provided the veteran couple with a complete exterior home makeover. The roof, windows, siding, entry door and flagpole were replaced, giving the couple an opportunity to reclaim their lives and redirect their finances toward their long-awaited wedding.

Rodriguez expressed his gratitude for The Third Estimate and NEOPAT stating, "We're actually going to be able to finally get married, travel and just actually have a life outside of being broken and injured and in the house; falling apart."
