MEDIA NOTICE - Canada's Premiers to Meet in Winnipeg July 10-12, 2023

WINNIPEG, MB, June 13, 2023 /CNW/ - As Chair of the Council of the Federation, Manitoba Premier Heather Stefanson will host the 2023 Summer Meeting of Canada's Premiers July 10 through 12, at the Fort Garry Hotel in Winnipeg.

Media Accreditation

Media representatives who wish to cover the 2023 Summer Meeting of Canada's Premiers must register online by July 6, 2023. Individuals will be screened to ensure they are official media representatives.

Media Accommodation

Media are responsible for making their own hotel reservations. A limited block of rooms is available at the Delta Hotel Winnipeg (350 St Mary Avenue, Winnipeg, MB).

Media Centre

A media centre will be set up in the Provencher Ballroom, located on the Main Level of the Fort Garry Hotel on Monday, July 10 through Wednesday, July 12. A unimic will be available in this location. The room will be equipped with wireless internet access and power outlets.

A meeting of Premiers and national Indigenous leaders will be held on Monday, July 10 at The Leaf in Assiniboine Park, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Details about this meeting will be issued by the Government of Manitoba.

The Council of the Federation comprises all 13 provincial and territorial Premiers. It enables Premiers to work collaboratively, form closer ties, foster constructive relationships among governments, and show leadership on important issues that matter to Canadians.
