Disabled Veterans National Foundation awards $357,000 in Capacity Building Grants to 25 non-profit veteran support organizations


The Disabled Veterans National Foundation is pleased to announce that this spring, the organization will award $357,000 in grants to twenty-five non-profit veteran support organizations.

LANHAM, Md., June 7, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Disabled Veterans National Foundation is pleased to announce that this spring, the organization will award $357,000 in grants to twenty-five non-profit veteran support organizations.

With this funding, these organizations can offer a wide variety of services and support to disabled and at-risk veterans. The charities vary in size, mission, and focus, and grants were awarded based on the size of the grant request, and the direct impact they have within Veteran communities.

"Our Veterans deserve every bit of support and assistance they can receive during these difficult times," said Ret. Sgt. Maj Joseph VanFonda, Chief Executive Officer of the DVNF. "Our Grant program is a direct way to demonstrate our financial support for these non-profit organizations that provide much-needed assistance to our homeless, disabled, and at-risk veterans and their families."
