Mara Makes 2023 Canada's Sustainability Changemaker's List

Mara Renewables Corporation (Mara) is delighted to announce they have made the Sustainable Development Technology Canada (SDTC) Canada's Sustainability Changemakers list for 2023. The list is comprised of the top ten Canadian companies showing outstanding growth and a track record of delivering on SDTC's mandate of environmental and economic benefits for Canada. Mara was chosen because of their commitment as a leading organization that has challenged the status quo to provide Canadian-made solutions with potential global impact.

"We are honored and proud to be recognized as one of Canada's Sustainability Changemakers among such an elite group of companies. Mara's mission has always been to be a leader in sustainability and the preservation of earth's most precious natural resources. Implementing our patented processing technologies and using biomass that does not disrupt nature's ecosystems is one of the ways in which we demonstrate our commitment to minimal impact on the planet while providing the highest quality ingredients to improve human health on a global scale," said Dr. Mark Scaife, Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of Mara. "We are very grateful to be on this esteemed list of companies who share our vision for a better future."

Canada's Sustainability Changemakers is the first made-in-Canada list recognizing homegrown innovation in sustainable technologies. The companies were chosen as Canada's Sustainability Changemakers following a rigorous evaluation process consisting of five criteria:
