Dino Rizzo Announces Upcoming Serve Day and Ways to Serve the Community

Dino Rizzo, a 35-year ministry veteran, is excited about the upcoming Serve Day 2023, which will be held on July 15.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., May 12, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dino Rizzo, a 35-year ministry veteran, is excited to announce that Serve Day will be held on July 15 this year. Serve Day provides churches worldwide with opportunities to serve their local communities and share the love of God at the same time by completing practical acts of kindness.

Dino Rizzo explains that the idea behind the day is to focus on the importance of serving so that it naturally becomes a focal point of everything throughout the year.

No matter where a church is located, it can participate in the day via the Serve Day Platform. The free web-based platform and mobile application are available to all churches that sign up to participate in Serve Day 2023. All churches have to do is register to receive their personalized access.

The platform offers customizable branding, high-level reporting, in-app messaging, social media sharing, day-of project check-in, and the ability to capture project stories.

Then, once registered for Serve Day and signed up for the platform, churches can use the Serve App to create or participate in other Serve projects.

Many churches do not wait for July to begin serving their community using the resources on the Serve Day platform. For example, Experience Church in Calgary, Alberta, recently held its own day of service. As many as 50 participants showed up to collect food and groceries for local residents of an affordable housing residence.

As Dino Rizzo says, serving isn't about an event but rather infusing a "serving" culture into their DNA. This is what Serve Day is all about.

By setting aside one complete day to serve the community, the hope is that the people involved will recognize how important it is to give back -- even if they can only give back in the simplest ways.

Dino Rizzo has many roles in the larger ministry community, including the co-founder of ARC (Association of Related Churches), which he helped launch in 2000. The organization is devoted to launching, connecting and equipping churches and pastors to see a life-giving church built in every community.

As the founder of Servolution, Dino Rizzo leads the National Serve Day initiative. On this day, he helps enlist churches to serve their communities on one designated day every year. By having one specific day set aside just for serving, the hope is that serving, in general, will become part of every church's DNA.

Serve Day also emphasizes the fact that it doesn't matter where you are in the world; you can join with others in ministry to make a difference in your local community and the world at large.

July 15 has been designated as Serve Day 2023. For additional resources on Serve Day, to sign up for the day, and access the Serve Day Platform, please visit the website serveday.com.
