Canada Life, IGM Financial and Power Corporation of Canada Donate $125,000 in Support of Urgent Humanitarian Relief Efforts in Türkiye and Syria

WINNIPEG, MB, Feb. 13, 2023 /CNW/ - Canada Life, IGM Financial and Power Corporation of Canada today announced a donation of $125,000 equally split between the Canadian Red Cross and UNICEF Canada appeals, supporting the critical humanitarian needs following the earthquake that hit the south-east Türkiye and Syria on February 6, 2023.

The Canadian Red Cross and UNICEF Canada are working to deliver as quickly as possible emergency relief and help to those impacted by the earthquakes. Support efforts include search and rescue, as well as emergency assistance to children and families. 

Donations from employees of the Power group of companies will also be matched through corporate giving programs.
