COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update
QUÉBEC CITY, Feb. 13, 2023 /CNW/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
381 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,309,008*;
4 new deaths, for a total of 18,021 deaths, i.e.;
0 deaths in the last 24 hours,
4 deaths that occurred between two and seven days ago,
0 deaths that occurred more than seven days ago;
NOTE: As death removals are not shown in the data above, the number of death additions may exceed the number of new deaths for the day.
1,907 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
Hospitalizations and intensive care: due to a change in methodology, data are no longer compiled on weekends. Thus, the data will be updated from Tuesday to Saturday;
5,500 samples conducted on February 11;
323,905 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 273,299 positive: 40 declared for yesterday, including 30 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
379 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 22,902,807 doses received by Quebecers.
