COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update
QUÉBEC CITY, Feb. 10, 2023 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
538 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,307,719*;
13 new deaths, for a total of 18,015 deaths, i.e.;
3 deaths in the last 24 hours,
1 death that occurred between two and seven days ago,
9 deaths that occurred more than seven days ago;
NOTE: As death removals are not shown in the data above, the number of death additions may exceed the number of new deaths for the day.
2,168 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
1,346 hospitalizations, including 416 due to COVID-19, for a decrease of 32 compared to the previous day;
90 new entries,
122 new discharges;
24 people in intensive care, including 11 due to COVID-19, for a decrease of 3 compared to the previous day;
3 new entries,
6 new discharges;
7,388 samples conducted on February 8;
323,690 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 273,114 positive: 41 declared for yesterday, including 37 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
1,953 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 22,899,113 doses received by Quebecers.
