Greenberg Traurig's India Sneed Named to City & State's 2023 'The Power of Diversity: Black Power 100' List


India L. Sneed, a Government Law & Policy Practice associate in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP's New York office, has been named to City & State's "The Power of Diversity: Black Power 100" list.

NEW YORK, Feb. 7, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- India L. Sneed, a Government Law & Policy Practice associate in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP's New York office, has been named to City & State's "The Power of Diversity: Black Power 100" list.

According to the publication, the list recognizes Black leaders as well as Black business executives, nonprofit leaders, union officials, advisers, advocates, and activists who are blazing new trails in New York.

Sneed is dedicated to giving back and involved in a number of organizations, including the National Black Prosecutors Association, the Metropolitan Black Bar Association, and serves on Greenberg Traurig's Committee on Racial Justice. Sneed advises clients on matters pertaining to government law and policy, election law, and investigations. She has vast experience as a leader in governmental and legislative roles, having served as Deputy Director of the New York City Mayor's Action Plan where she was responsible for interagency coordination of citywide programs and managing a multimillion dollar budget; Chief of Staff and Legislative & Budget Director for two City Council Members where she led bill drafting and negotiations and allocated funds to community partners; and as Executive Director of the New York State BLAC Caucus engaging legislators statewide on a wide variety of matters. She also served as a Prosecutor in the Kings County District Attorneys' Office, leading investigations into officer misconduct and hate crimes and conducting bench and jury trials.
