The Rocky Mountain ADA Center Names Tess Stanton as Training Administrator


Center provides information dissemination, training and additional services pertaining to the Americans with Disabilities Act to Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Utah

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Jan. 9, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Rocky Mountain ADA Center (RMADAC), a member of the National Network of ADA Centers, is pleased to announce Tess Stanton as its Training Administrator.

Working for the organization since 2022, Stanton leads all the RMADAC regional trainings to both private and public entities. She also supports the organization's daily operations including technical assistance calls.

As the RMADAC training administrator, Stanton has already completed over 25 (in person / virtual) trainings across the region to many organizations including the Pikes Peak Workforce Center, University Northern Colorado, and North Dakota Division of Vocational Rehabilitation on many topics including service animals, disability etiquette and general ADA overview(s). With capacity to assist more organizations in 2023, Stanton looks to expand the center's training program in 2023 with 65-75 training sessions next year.

In addition to leading training initiatives for the RMADAC, Stanton acts as its podcast, Adventures in Accessibility, host and producer. In this role, Stanton regularly interviews local, regional, and national thought leaders within the disability community to bring their personal stories to the center's listeners.

Stanton also acts as public media spokesperson for the Rocky Mountain ADA Center. She works with regional media to share tips pertaining to inclusion along with general information about the center to encourage viewers/readers/listeners of public media to utilize the RMADAC when they have questions about rights and responsibilities under the civil rights law.

Stanton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communication and a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. In her free time, Tess enjoys trail running, rock climbing and listening to podcasts and is always looking for new restaurant recommendations across the Rocky Mountain Region as she is a dedicated foodie.
