COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update
QUÉBEC, Dec. 2, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
945 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,255,012*;
11 new deaths, for a total of 17,372 deaths, i.e.;
0 deaths in the last 24 hours,
5 deaths that occurred between two and seven days ago,
6 deaths that occurred more than seven days ago; NOTE: As death removals are not shown in the data above, the number of death additions may exceed the number of new deaths for the day.
4,085 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
1,962 hospitalizations, including 631 due to COVID-19, for a decrease of 17 compared to the previous day;
146 new entries,
163 new discharges;
44 people in intensive care, including 23 due to COVID-19, for a decrease of 1 compared to the previous day;
5 new entries,
6 new discharges;
11,565 samples conducted on November 30;
312,932 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 263,438 positive: 120 declared for yesterday, including 103 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
17,359 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 22,441,576 doses received by Quebecers.
