COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update
QUÉBEC CITY, Nov. 24, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
1 040 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,247,245*;
10 new deaths, for a total of 17,302 deaths, i.e.;
0 deaths in the last 24 hours,
5 deaths that occurred between two and seven days ago,
5 deaths that occurred more than seven days ago;
NOTE: As death removals are not shown in the data above, the number of death additions may exceed the number of new deaths for the day.
3,655 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
1,785 hospitalizations, including 575 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 27 compared to the previous day;
163 new entries,
136 new discharges;
41 people in intensive care, including 22 due to COVID-19, for a decrease of 1 compared to the previous day;
9 new entries,
10 new discharges;
12,775 samples conducted on November 22;
311,283 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 261,965 positive: 127 declared for yesterday, including 106 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
22,368 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 22,296,843 doses received by Quebecers.
