COVID-19 Pandemic - The government presents its daily update
QUÉBEC CITY, Nov. 22, 2022 /CNW Telbec/ - The most recent data on the evolution of COVID-19, in the last 24 hours, in Québec show:
940 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 1,244,873*;
18 new deaths, for a total of 17,290 deaths, i.e.;
3 deaths in the last 24 hours,
11 deaths that occurred between two and seven days ago,
4 deaths that occurred more than seven days ago; NOTE: As death removals are not shown in the data above, the number of death additions may exceed the number of new deaths for the day.
3,280 health care workers absent for COVID-related reasons (preventive withdrawal, isolation, awaiting results, etc.);
1,698 hospitalizations, including 545 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 56 compared to the previous day;
315 new entries,
259 new discharges;
42 people in intensive care, including 19 due to COVID-19, for an increase of 1 compared to the previous day;
14 new entries,
13 new discharges;
8,409 samples conducted on November 20;
310,846 self-declared rapid tests so far, including 261,586 positive: 143 declared for yesterday, including 125 positive.
*Note that the number of cases listed is not representative of the situation since access to screening centres is restricted to priority clienteles.
Vaccination
15,502 doses administered are added, for a cumulative total of 22,251,967 doses received by Quebecers.
